Brian Armstrong: The U.S. Constitution lacks a cap on government spending growth and a requirement for currency to be backed by hard assetsAccording to Odaily, Brian Armstrong posted on X that the U.S. Constitution is the most important political innovation in history, but it lacks two crucial elements: a cap on government spending growth and a requirement for money to be backed by hard assets. Without these two components, every democratic country inevitably heads toward increased debt and eventually loses reserve currency status, as discussed in The Changing World Order. U.S. debt stands at $39 trillion, increasing by approximately $1 trillion every 100 days, and current interest payments have already surpassed the defense budget. The existing mechanisms cannot stop this trend. Politicians are elected by promising to offer free benefits funded by others; while some voters benefit now, the negative effects of spending are shouldered by future generations who do not yet have voting rights, leading to a broken incentive structure. Solutions include drafting new constitutions in frontier regions such as Mars, special economic zones, or cyberspace; adjusting incentives in the current system through amendments, which is politically challenging; or achieving extremely high economic growth driven by AI, robotics, and cryptocurrency that outpaces inflation.

Eason Technology Limited recently submitted documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stating that the company's management is not aware of any material non-public information that would reasonably explain recent stock trading activity. This statement indicates that the company believes the recent unusual fluctuations in stock price or trading volume are not driven by significant undisclosed internal information. Such documents are typically submitted at the request of exchanges or regulatory authorities, aiming to respond to abnormal market trading situations and to ensure fair access to information for all investors. According to regulatory requirements, listed companies are obligated to make such disclosures when they notice unexplained significant movements in their stock price, in order to clarify whether any major developments remain undisclosed. Yisheng Technology’s position temporarily rules out the possibility that trading activity is being driven by undisclosed information such as potential mergers and acquisitions, significant performance revisions, or key business changes.Market analysts point out that this document helps stabilize investor expectations and reduce market noise caused by speculation. However, stock price fluctuations could still be affected by public factors such as macroeconomic conditions, sector rotation, or market liquidity. Investors should take into account the company’s disclosed financial position and industry outlook when making decisions.
