Bitget Protection Fund Replenished to $300M+

Since 2022, Bitget has maintained a dedicated Protection Fund as an additional layer of protection for user assets. The fund was initially established at $300M, backed by 5,500 BTC, and has been regularly monitored and disclosed.
Following the security incident on September 24, Bitget designated the Protection Fund to cover the financial impact of the incident. The estimated affected amount was $388M, while user account balances remained accurate and unaffected.
On September 28, we committed to replenishing the Protection Fund to at least $300M within one week.
Today, the Protection Fund has been replenished to $300M+.
We delivered on that commitment, and our commitment to protecting users remains unwavering.
The Protection Fund is designed to be on-chain, transparent, and traceable. Users can visit the Bitget Protection Fund page and view the associated wallet addresses to independently verify the fund on-chain.
