This article walks you through Bitget IPO Prime, how to participate, what preSPAX represents, and the key risks to review before you subscribe.

FAQs

1. What is Bitget IPO Prime?

Bitget IPO Prime is Bitget’s token sale platform. It gives eligible users access to selected digital assets linked to global unicorn companies before a potential IPO.

2. How do I participate in Bitget IPO Prime?

IPO Prime uses a subscription-based commit model. Eligible users can join the subscription during the event period. Your individual commit limit depends on your Bitget VIP level.

3. What is preSPAX?

preSPAX is the first asset listed on Bitget IPO Prime. It is a digital token issued by a compliant issuer and is designed to reflect the economic performance of SpaceX after its IPO.

4. Who issues preSPAX?

preSPAX is issued by Republic International Cayman, a company licensed in multiple regions, including the United States.

5. Does subscribing to preSPAX mean I directly invest in SpaceX?

No. Holding preSPAX does not mean you own SpaceX shares.

preSPAX represents a debt instrument issued by the issuer to token holders. It is designed to reflect the performance of SpaceX, but it is not actual SpaceX equity.

Holding preSPAX does not give you:

  • voting rights

  • dividend rights

  • shareholder rights

  • ownership of SpaceX equity

preSPAX is not affiliated with the companies mentioned and has not received any approval or endorsement from them.

6. What happens after I subscribe to preSPAX?

After the Bitget IPO Prime event ends, you may exit in either of these ways, subject to the product rules and subscription agreement:

  • Trade on Bitget OTC: You may trade preSPAX on the Bitget OTC market according to the platform rules.

  • Wait for conversion: You may wait until the lock-up period for the underlying debt asset ends, which is typically about six months after the SpaceX IPO. After that, the issuer will entrust Bitget to convert it into USDT or other tokens based on the market price of the underlying company’s stock.

Please refer to the subscription agreement for the final terms.

7. What happens if the company cancels or delays its IPO?

If the underlying company does not complete a qualifying triggering event, such as an IPO or acquisition, within the period stated in the subscription agreement, redemption will follow the backup terms in that agreement.

The subscription agreement will govern the redemption timing, amount calculation, and other conditions.

8. Are there any fees for participating in IPO Prime?

No. Eligible users can participate for free. There are no additional subscription, management, or custodial fees for joining IPO Prime.

However, token swap fees may apply based on the subscription agreement.

9. Is IPO Prime risk-free?

No. IPO Prime is not risk-free, and returns are not guaranteed.

Risks include, but are not limited to:

  • changes in the valuation of the underlying company

  • the risk that no qualifying triggering event occurs

  • secondary market liquidity risk

  • digital asset price volatility

  • possible loss of principal

Please make sure you fully understand the risks before participating. Only invest funds you can afford to lose. You may also consider seeking independent professional advice.

10. Does Bitget hold equity in the underlying company based on the total commit amount?

The digital assets listed on Bitget IPO Prime are issued by compliant issuers. The issuer and its partners hold equity or related rights in the underlying company through compliant channels. They also ensure through agreements that the token issuance is backed by real underlying assets.
