According to TechFlow, on December 30, CoinDesk reported that silver market volatility has significantly surpassed that of bitcoin, reflecting the vastly different market conditions of the two assets. Silver's realized volatility has soared to over 50%, with its price rising by more than 151% this year, mainly driven by growing demand from green technology and upcoming export restrictions in China.

Meanwhile, bitcoin's 30-day annualized realized volatility has remained stable at around 45%, lower than its 365-day average of 48%. Bitcoin is currently trading at approximately $87,350, nearly 30% down from its all-time high of $126,000 set in October. Analysts attribute this decline to weakened demand for spot ETFs and market mechanism factors, rather than a shift in market sentiment.
