El Salvador distributes Bitcoin into 14 new wallets to reduce quantum computing risks
Foresight News reported that The Bitcoin Office of El Salvador tweeted, "El Salvador is moving funds from a single Bitcoin address to multiple new unused addresses to enhance the security and long-term custody of the country's strategic Bitcoin reserves, and to prepare for the potential development of quantum computing. The reserves will be redistributed to multiple addresses, with each address holding up to 500 BTC." On-chain data shows that El Salvador has dispersed its Bitcoin into 14 new wallets.
