Bloomberg reporter Emily Nicolle posted on the X platform stating that a certain CEX paid personal security expenses for its CEO, Brian Armstrong, amounting to $6.2 million last year, exceeding the combined security expenses paid by JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and NVIDIA for their executives. Recently, due to the frequent occurrences of kidnapping and extortion incidents involving cryptocurrency billionaires, many have been enhancing their security measures by hiring bodyguards to counter potential threats.
