Cryptocurrency Executives Enhance Security Following a Series of Kidnappings
According to Bloomberg, the Amsterdam-based private security company Infinite Risks International has received an increasing number of inquiries about bodyguard services, with more long-term clients signing up for private security services. Additionally, there have been at least three kidnapping incidents so far in 2025, and French law enforcement officials recently announced enhanced security measures for cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and investors. These measures include providing security briefings to entrepreneurs and their families and expediting their contact with the police in emergencies. French law enforcement also advises cryptocurrency investors not to flaunt their wealth or wear clothing with cryptocurrency branding to reduce their risk of becoming targets. This series of unsettling events highlights the necessity for cryptocurrency investors and industry professionals to take proactive security measures and remain vigilant.
