Harris May Share Thoughts on Bitcoin in Coming Weeks, Husband a "Cryptocurrency Enthusiast"
Estimates are that Harris will spell out her views on cryptocurrencies in the coming weeks, said a crypto lobbyist who asked not to be named. Gary DeWaal, a former senior attorney at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), said he doesn't expect Harris to comment on cryptocurrencies until she announces her choice of vice president on 7 August. Harris' husband, Douglas Emhoff, is a "cryptocurrency enthusiast".
