Musk clarifies report that he will donate $45 million per month to support Trump
PANews reported on July 16 that earlier today, the Wall Street Journal reported that Musk pledged to donate about $45 million per month to a new super PAC to support Trump's presidential campaign. Musk responded to the WSJ tweet with the "FAKE GNUS" emoticon, calling the news fake news.
However, it was previously reported that Musk had donated to a super PAC dedicated to electing Trump as the president of the United States. It is not clear how much Musk donated, but people familiar with the matter said the number was quite large.
