Polymarket launches new event: "When will the Trump administration declassify the next batch of UFO files?"
Polymarket has launched a new prediction event: "When will the Trump administration declassify a new batch of UFO files". According to information from the official U.S. government website, the Trump administration has already made UAP-related records public through the war.gov/ufo page; U.S. media reports indicate that on May 8, 2026, the Pentagon will release the first batch of previously undisclosed UAP/UFO-related files, images, videos, and reports. The settlement rule for this event is: if the Trump administration declassifies any previously undisclosed files related to extraterrestrial life and/or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the specified date, the corresponding market will be determined as "Yes". Otherwise, the market will be determined as "No". In this market, the "Trump administration" includes the Presidential Executive Office during Trump's term of office, as well as all executive departments, agencies, and subordinate offices under presidential authority, including defense-related departments and their constituent agencies. Mere announcements of future declassification without actual release within the time stipulated by the market will not count toward the settlement conditions. The main basis for determining whether declassification has occurred will be official information from the U.S. government, though consensus from credible media reports may also be referenced.
