Report: Global Financial Wealth Enters the Era of “Differentiated Growth”
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has officially released the "2026 Global Wealth Report." The report indicates that in 2025, the total global financial wealth grew by 10.7% to a record $333 trillion, marking the fastest growth rate since 2021. When including tangible assets, global net wealth reached as high as $550 trillion. However, the report also reveals a cautionary fact: more than 80% of industry revenue growth was driven by market performance, rather than by inflows from new investors. In other words, wealth management institutions are largely "riding the market's coattails" rather than creating value through their own capabilities. This growth model means that, once the market shifts, the industry's underlying vulnerability will be exposed. BCG has also, for the first time, categorized global financial wealth into two major types: financial assets and real assets. Among real assets, gold stood out the most—physical gold surged by 44% over the year, reflecting deep concerns among global high-net-worth individuals about the fiat currency system.

According to official sources cited by Odaily, Cango has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2026. During the reporting period, the company achieved a total revenue of $102 million, of which the Bitcoin mining business contributed $98.4 million. A total of 1,266 Bitcoins were mined this quarter. In addition, the company's long-term debt fell from $557.6 million at the end of 2025 to $30.6 million, a decrease of 94.5%.
