SK Hynix Responds to "Average Employee Bonus of 6.1 Million RMB": Unable to Predict at the MomentBlockBeats News, May 9th - Recently, there have been reports that the average employee bonus at SK Hynix in South Korea will reach 6.1 million RMB. This information is based on a forecast by the international investment bank Macquarie Securities.
The investment bank believes that if SK Hynix's operating profit reaches 44.7 trillion Korean won in 2027, and based on a simple calculation of 10% of the operating profit and the total number of employees at the end of last year of about 35,000, the total bonus pool will reach approximately 447 trillion Korean won. The average bonus that can be distributed per person is about 1.29 billion Korean won, close to 6.1 million RMB.
In response, SK Hynix stated that since this year and next year's annual performance has not yet been determined, the bonus scale cannot be predicted. The company also stated that it has established a new system at the headquarters level, where 10% of the operating profit is used as a source of funds to distribute performance bonuses once a year.
