Bitget Market Pulse: Where Crypto, Stocks, Commodities and Indexes Momentum Is Moving
Date: September 18, 2026
Tone: Professional, data-led and market-focused
The crypto market is showing a clear split today: major assets are moving steadily, while selected smaller tokens are producing unusually large percentage swings. Bitget's live market board has BTC at $77,009.11 (+0.96%), BGB at $1.9355 (+1.53%), SPYx at $764.97 (+0.21%), NAS100 at 29,424.18 (-0.12%), Gold at $4,353.11 (+0.24%), and EUR/USD at 1.14816 (+0.05%).
🚀 Biggest Bitget Gainers
The strongest move on the Bitget leaderboard is coming from MarsCat (MCAT), up 284.92% to $0.9574. The move is backed by about $24.37 million in 24-hour volume, making it one of the most closely watched speculative movers today.
Prism Assets (PRISM) follows with a 124.64% gain to $0.01043, while its seven-day performance is even stronger at +254.73%.
Undeads Games (UDS) has climbed 104.64% to $0.2121, with seven-day performance at +73.28%.
Other notable gainers include:
- The Index (INDEX): +156.92%
- Liluni (LILUNI): +58.63%
- Pepe (PEPE): +58.29%
- Harmony (ONE): +53.89%

- Hosico (HOSICO): +3.39%
- TENDIES (TENDIES): +0.51%
These figures are Bitget's current leaderboard readings and can change rapidly during the trading session.
The important detail behind the headline gains
The biggest percentage gains are not necessarily the strongest market signals. Several of these assets have very small reported market capitalizations or relatively limited trading depth.
That matters because a token can print a huge percentage gain without attracting the same level of capital seen in BTC, ETH or other large-cap assets. Harmony is a notable exception within this group: its roughly $159.42 million 24-hour volume is substantial relative to its reported market capitalization, suggesting considerably more active trading than many of the micro-cap names on the list.
🔻 Coins Under Heavy Selling Pressure
The other side of the market is equally important.
The broader crypto loser screen currently shows IDEX down 26.26%, Seamless Protocol (SEAM) down 24.89%, and Omni Network (OMNI) down 24.44% over 24 hours.
Additional weak performers include IoTeX (IOTX) -16.04%, chrono.tech (TIME) -11.32%, TrueFi (TRU) -10.71%, Stafi (FIS) -10.58%, and Pundi X (PUNDIX) -9.79%.
The important point is that today's weakness is not simply a blanket sell-off across every major cryptocurrency. Instead, selling is particularly visible in selected smaller and mid-cap projects.
🔥 Hot Coins Getting Market Attention
The more liquid part of the market is behaving differently.
Bitcoin is up 0.96%, while BGB is gaining 1.53%. Bitget's current market board also shows SPYx +0.21%, while NAS100 is down 0.12%.
A separate live crypto market update has Ethereum at +0.17%, BNB at +1.55%, while Bitcoin is slightly lower on that particular quote source at -0.48%. The same feed highlights NEAR +21.95%, Uniswap +14.31%, Arbitrum +10.37%, and Hyperliquid +9.41%.
That difference between data feeds is a useful reminder: crypto prices move continuously, so the exact percentage can differ depending on the timestamp, exchange and data snapshot.
💰 Forex: Dollar and Yen in Focus
The foreign-exchange market is being driven heavily by central-bank expectations.
The US Dollar Index is around 100.30, with traders assessing the latest Federal Reserve decision. The Fed raised its benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4.00%, and markets are now pricing roughly a 53.1% probability of another hike at the October meeting, according to CME FedWatch data cited by FXStreet.
The Bank of Japan also raised rates, but its relatively cautious policy stance remains important for the yen. Reuters reports that markets are watching Governor Kazuo Ueda's comments for clues about the future pace of tightening.
Bitget currently shows EUR/USD at 1.14816, up 0.05%.
🛢️ Commodities: Oil Pulls Back, Gold Holds Firm
Oil is becoming one of the biggest cross-market signals today.
Brent is around $103.91 per barrel, down $0.91, while WTI is around $101.34, down $0.57 from the previous close.
The decline comes after oil had remained elevated because of Middle East supply risks. Reuters reports that crude remains more than 14% higher for the month, despite hopes that alternative trading routes can reduce the immediate supply shock.
Gold remains elevated. One global-market snapshot puts gold near $4,392.80 per ounce, while Bitget's board shows $4,353.11 (+0.24%).
The divergence is worth watching: falling oil prices can reduce some inflation pressure, while geopolitical uncertainty continues to support demand for defensive assets.
📈 Global Index Snapshot
Major equity markets remain relatively firm in the latest global-market snapshot:
Dow Jones: 51,778.04, up 316.14
S&P 500: 7,637.76, up 85.95
Nasdaq: 26,418.30, up 439.88
Nikkei: 64,136.25, up 213.25
DAX: 25,716.71, up 178.96
FTSE 100: 10,816.14, up 127.67
CAC 40: 8,186.93, up 46.34
Shanghai Composite: 3,875.60, down 16.00
BIST 100: 13,509.76, up 387.18
RTS: 838.30, down 16.81.
🧠 Market Desk View
The most interesting feature of today's market is not simply which coin has the biggest percentage gain. It is the gap between speculative momentum and deeper market liquidity.
MarsCat's +284.92%, Prism Assets' +124.64%, Undeads Games' +104.64%, and The Index's +156.92% are headline-grabbing moves. But the liquidity behind each move is very different.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin, BGB, gold, major currencies and equity indexes are showing comparatively measured moves. That suggests the market is rotating capital aggressively into selected pockets rather than moving uniformly in one direction.
Another important risk is macro: the Fed has resumed rate increases, the BOJ has tightened again, and Middle East tensions continue to influence oil. These factors can quickly change the appetite for high-risk crypto assets.
Bottom line for September 18: watch BTC and BGB for broad crypto sentiment, NEAR/UNI/ARB/HYPE for liquid altcoin momentum, and MCAT/PRISM/UDS/INDEX for high-risk speculative activity. At the same time, keep an eye on oil, gold, the dollar and central-bank signals, because today's crypto moves are taking place inside a much larger macro market.

🚨 BITGET MARKET RADAR
The market is showing a broad altcoin rebound, but the structure is mixed.
Bitget’s latest breadth data shows 89 of 100 QC100 constituents advancing, only 10 declining, while all 10 tracked sectors were green. Memes led at +6.13%, followed by DeFi at +3.59%. Yet Bitcoin was only modestly higher, meaning much of the recovery is happening underneath BTC rather than being driven by BTC itself.
🔥 BITGET TOP GAINERS

UDS +71.35% | 7D +52.06%
FLYBRAIN +72.74% | 7D -90.17%
LILUNI +71.03%

MOBY +34.39%
INDEX +156.92% | 7D +182.75%
PYTHIA +34.03%
JYAI +33.69%
The important trading observation: PRISM, MCAT and INDEX are moving dramatically faster than the majors, but their reported market-cap/liquidity profiles are far smaller than BTC/ETH/SOL. That makes them momentum trades rather than automatically stronger investments.

XRP $1.30 ~flat
SOL $101.44 +3.14%
ZEC $1,469 +9.73%
HYPE $84.73 +8.12%
DOGE $0.0817 +1.35%
XMR $517.6 +4.90%
LINK $11.38 +3.51%

AVAX $7.61 +2.44%
PUMP $0.00409 +13.69%
DOT $1.09 +7.88%
ONDO $0.371 +8.06%
What stands out?
ZEC +9.7%, HYPE +8.1%, UNI +17.6%, NEAR +22%, PUMP +13.7% and ONDO +8.1% show that risk appetite is clearly reaching beyond BTC.
That matches Bitget's breadth data: the current move is not simply a BTC bounce; capital is rotating into higher-beta sectors.

🧩 COMMUNITY / NARRATIVE ROTATION
🐸 MEME COMMUNITY
PEPE, PUMP, MCAT, HOSICO, LILUNI, CHONKETHA, JYAI
Memes are currently the strongest Bitget sector by the QC100 sector reading at +6.13%. But this is also where liquidity traps can develop fastest.
💰 DeFi
UNI, AAVE, DEGO, DRIFT, RHEA
DeFi is showing genuine breadth rather than one isolated token. UNI's +17.6% move and strong DRIFT/DEGO performance make this one of the most active rotations. Bitget-linked market reporting also places DeFi among the strongest sectors today.
🏦 RWA / TOKENIZATION
ONDO, PAXG, XAUt
ONDO is up about 8%, while gold-backed assets remain closely watched. This narrative is particularly interesting because crypto liquidity is increasingly interacting with tokenized real-world assets and traditional markets.
🤖 AI / COMPUTE
TAO, SPECTRE, FLYBRAIN, ANYONE
TAO is around $199.7 and +2.83%, while several smaller AI/compute names are experiencing much larger percentage moves. The difference is liquidity: TAO has substantially more established market depth than micro-cap AI names.
🛡️ PRIVACY
ZEC, XMR
This is one of the clearest momentum pockets today.
ZEC +9.73% and XMR +4.90% are both outperforming BTC, with ZEC also showing approximately +37% over seven days on Bitget's current board.
---
📊 INDEX SIGNAL — THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART
Bitget's Altcoin Season Index is currently 41.
That means only 41 of the top 100 cryptocurrencies have outperformed BTC over the past 90 days, so Bitget still classifies the market as not being in altcoin season. Yesterday was 37, seven days ago 34, and 30 days ago 44.
But look underneath:
PONS +1,189.83%
LIT +235.59%
ZEC +222.96%
PUMP +203.15%
ARB +203.02%
UNI +191.57%
RAY +170.90%
ENA +87.73%
AAVE +83.41%
ETHFI +82.63%
CAKE +79.35%
So the message from the index is clear:
Altcoin participation is improving, but broad altseason confirmation is not there yet.

🧠 PRO TRADER READ
The market currently has three different speeds:
BTC → slow confirmation
ETH/SOL → intermediate rotation
ZEC/HYPE/UNI/NEAR/memes → high-beta expansion
BTC around $76K remains the liquidity anchor. ETH is recovering around $2.45K, while SOL is back above $100.
The stronger signal is that BTC dominance remains around 58.34%, while the broader market capitalization is approximately $2.60T.
That tells me the market is rotating, but it has not completely abandoned BTC leadership.
Levels I'd watch
BTC: $76K → $77K–$78K → $80K
ETH: $2.40K → $2.50K
SOL: $100 → $105–$107
HYPE: $80 → $85+
ZEC: $1,400 → $1,500
UNI: momentum continuation after +17% day
NEAR: watch whether the +22% move holds
ONDO: $0.37 area after +8% move
The biggest mistake here would be treating every +30–150% micro-cap candle as confirmation of altseason.
For a professional setup, I'd rather see:
BTC holds → ETH strengthens → SOL holds $100 → major alts retain volume → breadth stays elevated → then smaller caps continue.
That sequence is much healthier than chasing the first vertical candle.
⚠️ One additional Bitget-specific risk: Bitget announced the delisting of CAMP/USDT, RHEA/USDT, ORBS/USDT and TURBO/USDT on September 18, so RHEA's huge percentage gain should not be interpreted as a clean bullish signal.
My market map:
BTC = direction
ETH = confirmation
SOL = risk appetite
ZEC/HYPE = momentum
UNI/DRIFT/AAVE = DeFi rotation
ONDO = RWA rotation
PEPE/PUMP/MCAT = community/meme liquidity
TAO = AI narrative
BTC dominance + Altcoin Season Index = confirmation tools
The market is getting broader, but the Altcoin Season Index at 41 says the rotation still needs confirmation.
