Trump Mobile, a subsidiary of the Trump Organization, has postponed the release of its planned gold smartphone originally scheduled for this year.
According to Odaily, Trump Mobile, the mobile phone company launched by the Trump Group, has postponed its previously scheduled plan to ship gold-colored smartphones by the end of this year. The company initially promised to launch a US-made smartphone this year, priced at $499, to compete with mainstream devices such as Apple and Samsung, but has since lowered its targets. Trump Mobile's customer service team stated that the previous US government shutdown caused delays in phone delivery. The team added that it is "very likely" the device will not be shipped this month. The "T1" device announced in June this year, along with a monthly $47.45 phone plan, is one of several initiatives by the Trump family business to capitalize on his return to the White House.
