All three major U.S. stock indexes rise, S&P 500 hits another record high

Due to the impact of the Christmas holiday, the U.S. stock market closed early on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily closed up 0.6%, and the S&P 500 Index rose 0.32%, both setting new closing highs; the Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 0.22%. Blockchain concept stocks showed mixed performance.
