Huang Licheng Slashes 25x ETH Long on Hyperliquid, Closes 700 ETH and Holds 4,600 ETH (~$13.65M) with $236K Unrealized Profit
COINOTAG News, December 19, citing Hyperinsight, reports that ‘Brother Ma Ji’ Huang Licheng trimmed risk on a 25x ETH long position opened on Hyperliquid, reducing exposure in the last 20 minutes. He closed 700 ETH contracts, leaving a position of 4,600 ETH worth about $13.65 million in notional exposure. The trade shows a realized-to-unrealized transition, with an unrealized profit of roughly $236,000, a +42.49% swing on the remaining stake.
This move illustrates active risk management within crypto derivatives markets, where high leverage on a long position can be actively trimmed to preserve capital amid volatility. As ETH remains the focal point, market participants should monitor leverage dynamics, liquidity provisioning, and margin requirements across major venues to assess potential near-term liquidity risk and upside scenarios.
