All three major U.S. stock indexes fell, while Alibaba rose over 4%.
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily down 0.89%, the S&P 500 Index down 0.53%, and the Nasdaq down 0.38%. Broadcom (AVGO.O) fell 4%, while Nvidia (NVDA.O) and Apple (AAPL.O) both rose more than 1%. Google (GOOG.O) dropped 1.6%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 0.87%, and Alibaba (BABA.N) climbed 4.4%.
