 Vitalik responded to X platform user nikete by stating that although the Ethereum network plans to increase the Gas limit and the cost of inefficient operations, the actual selection of transactions in a block is still entirely determined by market mechanisms, "not like Bitcoin's approach." He emphasized that the total Gas amount per block is set by validator votes, many of whom refer to core developers' recommendations, but the final transaction selection is still determined by the free market.
