RAIN Token Jumps 130% Following Nasdaq Biotech’s $212M Investment and Major Leadership Change

The RAIN token, which powers the Rain decentralized prediction market on

Arbitrum

, has soared by more than 130% in recent trading, driven by a significant corporate purchase and the surprising appointment of former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to the board of a Nasdaq-listed biotech company.

Enlivex Therapeutics

(ENLV), a biotech firm focused on immunotherapy, revealed on Monday that it will use $212 million from a private investment in public equity (PIPE) round to acquire RAIN tokens,

representing the first time a company has centered its strategy

around a prediction market token.

This development has brought RAIN into the limelight,

with its value rising 9%

over the past month and surging 795% since its debut in September 2023.

The token reached a record high

of $0.006974, pushing its market cap above $1.7 billion and surpassing assets such as

Aptos
