ZetaChain releases ZetaClient upgrade, enabling multiple EVM calls to be executed in a single cross-chain interaction on Universal EVM
PANews reported on November 25 that ZetaChain has released a new version upgrade of ZetaClient, following the execution layer iteration after the UNISON (V36) mainnet launch. The core update introduces multi-deposit/multi-call capability for single cross-chain transactions in Universal Apps, and continues to advance the goal of approximately 2-second block times.
After the upgrade, a single cross-chain interaction can automatically split and trigger multi-step, multi-chain contract calls on Universal EVM, reducing reliance on off-chain orchestration for complex cross-chain processes. This capability enhances the capital efficiency and process experience of Universal DeFi/DEX, while also making it easier for AI agents’ natural language intents to be executed as complete cross-chain workflows.
The new version also improves inbound stability under high load, paves the way for faster keysigning and stronger observability, and expands native interoperability support for Sui (withdrawAndCall) and Solana (larger payloads).
