Farcaster stated in a post on the X platform that the Clanker project team has used two-thirds of the protocol fees generated in the past day to repurchase approximately $65,000 worth of CLANKER tokens. The remaining one-third of the fees will be used as USDC reserves for tax purposes.

The official statement indicates that the current repurchase process is manual, with an initial execution time that is not fixed, and will be announced immediately upon completion. The process is planned to be automated in the coming weeks.
