U.S. Treasury's Bitcoin strategic reserves surge 64% overnight, now reaching 3.5% of U.S. gold reserves
According to ChainCatcher, Galaxy Research reported that since the beginning of this year, the US government has authorized the Treasury Department to include seized digital assets as part of its strategic bitcoin reserves. With the recent inclusion of assets confiscated from Prince Group into the reserves, the scale of these reserves grew by 64% overnight, and in terms of US dollars, it is now equivalent to about 3.5% of the US gold reserves.
