According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell stated at a press conference on September 19 that policymakers will decide future monetary policy on a "meeting-by-meeting" basis, dampening market expectations for "more aggressive rate cuts." U.S. Treasury bonds experienced their first weekly decline since mid-August, with yields across all maturities rising by 1 to 3 basis points on Friday. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield edged up to 4.12%, reaching its highest level in two weeks.
