Digital Currency Group Sues Its Subsidiary Genesis Over $1.1 Billion in Receivables
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Digital Currency Group has filed a lawsuit against its subsidiary Genesis for $1.1 billion in accounts receivable in the aftermath of the cryptocurrency market crash. In the complaint, Digital Currency Group stated that after the collapse of the crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital in 2022, the group attempted to fill a potential "gap." Digital Currency Group is now requesting the court to order Genesis Global Capital to pay it more than $105 million plus interest.
