Ethereum Foundation: The Address That Sold 2,794 ETH Yesterday Does Not Belong to the Foundation
According to Jinse Finance, Hsiao-Wei Wang, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated on social media, "The address that sold 2,794.87 ETH yesterday does not belong to the Foundation. During the 2014 ICO, about 9% of the ETH supply was allocated to the Ethereum Foundation. Today, the Foundation holds less than 0.3% of the total ETH supply. So after 10 years, you may find a large number of addresses associated with the Ethereum Foundation." Previously, Lookonchain monitoring reported that an Ethereum Foundation address had sold a total of 2,794.87 ETH (worth $12.78 million) within two hours yesterday, at an average selling price of $4,574.4.
