Cosmos Health Completes Initial $1 Million ETH Purchase
On August 13, it was reported that healthcare group Cosmos Health Inc. (NASDAQ: COSM) announced it has begun purchasing Ethereum (ETH) as part of its digital asset reserve strategy. Under a $300 million financing agreement with U.S. institutional investors, Cosmos Health has completed its initial $1 million ETH purchase. Company CEO Greg Siokas stated, "We are pleased to begin building our ETH reserves with this initial purchase. By fully leveraging our financing facility, we aim to position Cosmos as a strong force in the crypto space. We believe ETH has significant appreciation potential, and its widespread adoption by institutional investors, inclusion in ETFs, proposed expansion of cryptocurrencies in retirement plans, and the growing number of enterprise applications based on Ethereum all reinforce our confidence in this strategic move."
