According to Jinse Finance, information from Tianyancha App shows that OpenAI, Inc. has applied to register two "OPENAI GPT-5" trademarks, classified under website services and scientific instruments. Both trademark applications are currently awaiting review after rejection. In addition, OpenAI OpCo, LLC has also applied to register two "GPT-5" trademarks, also classified under website services and scientific instruments, and both are currently under review following rejection.
