U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls for May and June Revised Down by a Total of 258,000
BlockBeats News, August 1 — The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the number of nonfarm payroll jobs added in May was revised down from 144,000 to 19,000; for June, the figure was revised from 147,000 to 14,000.
After the revisions, the combined number of new jobs added in May and June is 258,000 lower than previously reported. (Jin10)
