Collab+Currency and Other University Blockchain Initiatives Receive Funding of 600 Ether, Valued at Approximately $2.17 Million
Foresight News reports, citing Bloomberg, that venture capital firms are funding a new wave of blockchain activities on university campuses. Specialized digital asset investment institutions such as Collab+Currency, Consensys Mesh, Artemis, and Hydra Ventures have raised approximately 600 ETH (worth about $2.17 million). Through the "Dorm Decentralized Autonomous Organization (Dorm DAO)" initiative, these funds are being directed to student clubs from Michigan to Oregon. The program integrates capital support, research funding, and internship opportunities, providing students with a comprehensive pathway for blockchain development.
