According to Jinse Finance, Elon Musk stated on social media that 80% of users voted in favor of establishing a new political party. On June 6, Musk launched a poll on social media asking: "Is it time to create a new political party in the United States that truly represents the middle 80%?" The poll results showed that 5,630,775 users participated, with 80.4% voting in support. Previous reports indicated that Musk had said if the Big and Beautiful Act passes, a new political party would be established in the U.S. the very next day.
