Pudgy Penguins and NASCAR are off to the races.
The popular and still-relevant NFT collection took to social media on Wednesday to announce the partnership, although few details were provided.
"We’re happy to announce that we will be partnering with NASCAR to bring Pengu to NASCAR fans worldwide," the company said in its post .
While the NFT market has largely appeared to be dying a slow, painful death with trading volumes down drastically and previously high-flying companies like Yuga Labs unloading once valuable assets, Pudgy Penguins has shown signs of staying power. Besides an upcoming mobile video game through a partnership with Mythical Games, Pudgy Penguins has also achieved some success selling physical merchandise in major retail stores, including Walmart and Target.
This week, Pudgy Penguins said it also now has merchandise available in 2,000 stores in the U.S. The collection has also recently announced the launch of another game on the popular messaging platform Telegram.
