FTX founder SBF has been transferred to "Victimville" California Violent Crime Prison
According to Decrypt, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has been transferred to the medium-security federal prison in Victorville, California (FCI Victorville Medium II), which is often referred to as "Victimville" due to its frequent violence. SBF was sentenced to 25 years in 2023 for defrauding users of more than $8 billion. The prison is notorious for its strict racial factions, frequent fights and armed attacks, and harsh living conditions. SBF still maintains his innocence and is seeking an appeal.
