Arbitrum DAO is considering reclaiming unused funds from the game catalyst program
On March 24, Arbitrum DAO member Nathan Vander Heyden submitted a proposal calling for the withdrawal of unused funds allocated to the Arbitrum Game Catalyst Program (GCP). The program was launched in 2024 with the aim of positioning Arbitrum as a leading platform for on-chain game development. "We must gradually stop GCP activities and ensure all possible funds are secured to protect the DAO's capital and restore investor confidence in this DAO's ability to allocate capital," wrote VanderHeyden in a governance forum post. This community member also stated that GCP is reluctant to document its activities, and that the program has not fulfilled its promises.
