RootData posted on X that Brian Quintenz has been nominated as the chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). He was previously nominated by Obama and Trump for CFTC commissioner, and has always been a strong supporter of cryptocurrencies and DeFi. This could be a positive signal for projects supported by A16z.

RootData compiled the top 20 tokenless projects invested in by A16z (sorted by total financing), Story Protocol is the only Web3 project that A16z has led three rounds of financing consecutively, its TGE (Token Generation Event) officially launched today.
