According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in March is 93.5%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 6.5%. The probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged in May is 73.2%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 25.4%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 1.4%.
