The U.S. Senate committee approves John Ratcliffe as the director of the CIA
According to the AXIOS website, shortly after Trump was sworn in as president on Monday, the Senate Intelligence Committee quickly approved John Ratcliffe's appointment as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. The committee supported his nomination with a vote result of 14 to 3.
