According to Bitcoin Magazine, the Swiss federal government has officially begun reviewing a referendum proposal called "Building a Financially Strong, Sovereign, Independent and Responsible Switzerland (Bitcoin Initiative)". The proposal has been published in the Federal Gazette and has entered the signature collection stage, aiming to incorporate Bitcoin into the Swiss national financial system through a constitutional amendment.
