Magic Eden Legal Advisor: David Sacks only has 2 years to promote crypto-friendly policies
In an interview, Joe Doll, the chief legal counsel for the NFT market Magic Eden, stated that recently appointed "AI and Cryptocurrency Czar" David Sacks only has 2 years before the 2026 U.S. midterm elections to promote cryptocurrency-supportive policies.
Doll believes that threats of governmental deadlock could stifle regulation, and the current government must push for cryptocurrency-supportive policies while still controlling both houses of Congress. "The majority in the House is very slim and likely to flip because it almost always does. Therefore, you might encounter a divided government trying to settle things within two years. So we have 24 months to push some important things." (Cointelegraph)
