According to Cryptonews, former South Korean Democratic Party congressman Kim Nam-guk is facing legal consequences for concealing a large amount of cryptocurrency assets, reflecting South Korea's strict attitude towards cryptocurrency regulation. According to local news reports, prosecutors have proposed to the court that Kim Nam-guk be sentenced to six months in prison on charges of deliberately falsifying asset declarations submitted to Congress and hiding $7.5 million worth of cryptocurrency assets.
