The President of Argentina announces the implementation of free currency circulation in 2025, including Bitcoin
According to Bitcoin.com News, Argentine President Javier Milei announced his second-year governance plan. After inheriting an economic crisis, Milei has achieved a fiscal surplus and reduced currency issuance to zero.
He proposed cutting 90% of national taxes to alleviate the burden on the public while allowing provinces to establish their own tax systems. In addition, he plans to implement a free currency circulation policy in 2025, allowing Argentines to choose any currency for transactions including bitcoin, providing new opportunities for economic diversification.
