Three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively higher
The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively higher, with the Dow up 1.06%, the S&P 500 up 0.53%, and the Nasdaq up 0.03%. Most of the large technology stocks fell, Google fell more than 4%, Amazon fell more than 2%, Apple, Tesla, Microsoft, Meta fell slightly; Intel, Nifty rose more than 1%, NVIDIA rose slightly.
