JPMorgan Chase: Trump's first two years of second term could be quite influential
Stephen Grez, Managing Director of JPMorgan Chase Private Bank, said that if Trump makes policy changes in terms of taxes, deregulation and cryptocurrency, his first two years of the second term could be "quite influential".
Grez stated that Trump's tax cut plan is key. "If you bought shares in a company, you are obviously buying their future earnings after deducting taxes. If the tax rate is low, the stock price will be high. I think this is what we saw last week. Obviously, both the House of Representatives and Senate are now on Trump's side so we may see things moving in this direction for the next two years." He also pointed out that after the midterm elections in 2026,"doing these things might not be as easy".
