According to The Block, the U.S. SEC has once again postponed its decision on whether to approve the request for Ethereum ETF options listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). In submitted documents, the SEC stated that this delay is intended for further analysis and public opinion, particularly regarding whether proposed rule changes comply with requirements of Securities Exchange Act. The SEC emphasized concerns about potential impacts of this proposal on preventing market manipulation, protecting investors and ensuring a fair trading system - these impacts fall under provision 6(b)(5) of Securities Exchange Act.
