British 16-Year-Old Charged with Raising Cryptocurrency and Providing Cyber Expertise to Al-Qaeda
On October 31, The Standard reported that the 16-year-old British teenager was charged by Westminster Magistrates' Court with, among other things, fundraising for terrorism, providing training, and possessing documents that contributed to terror-related purposes. Under the conditions of his bail, the teenager must abide by a curfew, avoid social media and limit the use of his laptop to educational purposes. A hearing in his case will take place on Nov. 2 at the U.K. Central Criminal Court.
