The Aave community has initiated a proposal to strip WBTC
Aave community member LlamaRisk has initiated a proposal to strip WBTC, with specific proposals including: ·Lowering the WBTC LTV on all V3 instances (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Harmony, Optimism and Polygon) to 0 to prevent additional borrowing against WBTC collateral without affecting existing users' positions. ·Reducing supply and borrowing caps to levels 5-10% higher than current utilization rates to limit additional risk of WBTC while allowing users flexibility in adjusting their positions.
