Fed cuts 2024 US GDP growth forecast to 2.0%
The Fed expects U.S. GDP growth to be 2.0% in 2024, compared with 2.1% expected in June; expects U.S. GDP growth to be 2.0% in 2025, compared with 2.0% expected in June; expects U.S. GDP growth to be 2.0% in 2026, compared with 2.0% expected in June; expects U.S. GDP growth to be 2.0% in 2027; and expects long-term U.S. GDP growth to be 1.8%, compared with 1.8% expected in June 1.8 per cent.
