a16z Announces the Establishment of its First Mega Fund in Asia in Japan
According to Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a major U.S. venture capital firm, has announced that it will set up its first mega-fund in Asia in Japan, and it is understood that the NTT Group and other companies are involved in investing in the fund.
The fund is said to be intended to include Japanese companies active in venture capital as an alternative source of funding to China.
