The three major U.S. stock indexes closed up collectively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 1.04%, the Nasdaq up 2.43%, and the S&P 500 up 1.66%. Popular technology stocks rose across the board, with Nvidia up more than 6%, Tesla up more than 5%, and Meta and Amazon up more than 2%.
