News on August 2, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics: The number of non-farm jobs added in May was revised from 218,000 to 216,000; the number of non-farm jobs added in June was revised from 206,000 to 179,000. After revision, the total number of jobs added in May and June is 29,000 less than before the revision.
