Ripple CEO: Lawsuit with SEC lasting for years expected to be resolved "soon"
According to a recent interview by Bloomberg, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expects the company to "soon" settle the years-long lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Due to speculation in the market that the U.S. SEC may announce a settlement after holding a closed-door meeting next week, XRP's price has risen in recent weeks.
Data from analysis firm Santiment shows that since March, activity levels on the XRP ledger and the creation of new addresses have also reached their highest levels.
